Construction of a new 345 kV ring bus which included installing two new A-frames, 8 breakers, and 16 switches. The existing north 115 kV yard will be relocated in two new bays to the west of the existing south 115 kV yard, which will be rebuilt. The new 115 kV yard will consist of four new A-frame structures, 15 breakers, and 36 switches. A new control house will be installed (complete with control & relay panels, battery backup systems, and generator set) to support the new substation.

Construction of the new Bauer 345 kV Switching Station which consists of five rows of breaker-and-a-half configuration. The station also includes thirteen 345 kV gas circuit breakers and twenty-six 345 kV disconnect switches.

Construction of a 34.5/345 kV substation, 34.5 kV underground collection system, and five miles of 345 kV transmission line for the wind farm. Phase 1 includes over 30 miles of cable and fiber installation. Secondary cable installation and terminations from the transformers to the turbines were completed while the towers were erected. Transmission Line Construction included a combination of 38 wooden H-frame structures and 24 steel monopole structures. MJE was also involved in the control room and SCADA communication system installation.
