Rebuild of an existing 138 kV transmission line over approximately 25 miles from the Twining Substation to the Almeda Substation. The scope also includes 3 miles of double circuit line that taps into the Duquite Substation. The existing three legged lattice towers will be removed and replaced with steel monopoles and 8 lattice towers. The new line will be built to 230 kV specifications. The entire line is in deep right-of-way through 54 wetland areas and will require extensive matting.

New construction of approximately 70 miles of 230 kV transmission lines between Bemidji and Grand Rapids Minnesota. The transmission line runs primarily adjacent to U.S. HWY 2 through five counties including the Chippewa National Forest and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Reservation.
