In today’s budget- and time-constrained business environment, the benefits of energized transmission services cannot be overstated. M. J. Electric offers innovative techniques for construction, maintenance, and repair of transmission lines without power interruptions.

M. J. Electric crews have extensive experience in Hotstick and Barehand energized techniques as well as the Line Master© Robotic Arm technology. This proprietary equipment separates energized lines from poles allowing for safer, more efficient repair, replacement, or upgrade of energized transmission (up to 765 kV). This tool offers significant advantages for worker safety as well as work efficiency.

Using the Robotic Arm in combination with hot sticks provides additional clearance to allow barehanded work on lower voltage lines with limited phase to ground and phase to phase clearances. These techniques allow our crews the ability to provide quicker project completion with less interruption to customers resulting in bottom line savings.
