Utility Division

Since 1962, M. J. Electric, LLC's Utility Division has performed high voltage electrical construction services, including transmission and distribution line construction, substation erection, and traffic control and lighting. Our diverse project expertise, project management skills, and nationally recognized corporate safety program are highly regarded within the electrical construction industry. Our expanding list of repeat customers attests to the quality and service that we provide.

On October 23, 2009, Great Lakes Line Builders, Inc. (GLLB) was acquired by Quanta Services and is now a division of M. J. Electric, LLC. GLLB, founded in 2005, is an electric power transmission and distribution specialty contractor serving Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. This acquisition will strengthen our capabilities to provide safe and reliable services to investor owned utilities, independent power producers and municipal utilities.
