David oversees and develops safety practices, OSHA, and DOT at MJE and has over 27 years of safety experience. He previously held the position of Director of Safety and Fleet Manager for five years with another utility contractor. He also spent seven years as the Safety Manager with another major electrical contractor overseeing utility, industrial, piping, mechanical, underground, and OSHA activities. David started his career with MJE in 2002 during which time he also served as Director of Safety for InfraSource from 2005 to 2007. He has also served as a member of the Steering Team for the OSHA Strategic Partnership and currently serves on task teams. He is involved with many other industry committees which include other contractors, manufacturers, OSHA, and utilities to develop best safety practices to prevent injuries. David has a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and attended the ALABT line school in 1990. He is recognized as a Certified Utility Safety Administrator (CUSA) and Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP).
