Matua manages utility operations in the North Central region, which includes Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, Indiana, and Ohio, from the Oxford, MI office. He started working for MJE in 2008 and has previously he held positions of Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and Project Manager prior to being promoted to Vice President. Prior to working for MJE, Matua started his career working as an Electrical Engineer for one of Michigan’s largest electric utilities. He has held positions on apprentice selection committees for American Line Builders. Matua has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and maintains a Professional Engineering license in the state of Michigan.
