Invest in the Future Scholarship Recipients 2016
M. J. Electric, LLC (MJE) established the Invest in the Future Scholarship Program in 2015 to help further the advancement of the electrical construction industry. Each scholarship awards up to a maximum of $4,000 ($1,000 per year for a 4 year program). Two scholarships are awarded annually, one for a student attending Iron Mountain High School and one for a student attending Kingsford High School. Brock Wallis (Director of Operations, MJE Drilling) presented the 2016 MJE scholarship to the Kingsford HS recipient, Michael Anderson. Michael is in the top 10% of the senior class and has a 3.986 GPA and a 28 ACT score. He will be attending the University of Michigan and plans to major in civil engineering. Steve Feira (Vice President Human Resources) presented the 2016 scholarship to the Iron Mountain HS recipient, Nathaniel Carey. Nathaniel has a 3.92 GPA and a 27 ACT score. He will be attending Michigan Technological University and plans to major in Materials Science and Engineering.
