OUR MISSION STATEMENT

M. J. Electric, LLC invests in and fosters trusting relationships as we safely deliver electric transmission, substation, distribution, renewable energy, power, industrial, and civil/foundation construction services that increase the security, reliability, and capacity of our nation’s infrastructure.

We will conduct business with integrity, both in the MJE office environment and while managing and executing work for our customers. We invest our efforts to exceed customer expectations by honoring our commitments, providing a safe and high-quality installation, identifying potential issues, and preventing/solving their problems. We never forget that our customers and their repeat and referral business are the reason we exist as a company.​

We are committed to and invest in our employees in many ways including training, tools, equipment, establishing a safe work environment, providing technical solutions, process improvements, decision making authority, and fair wages to name a few. Our success and the success of our customers is directly related to the well-being of the men and women of our company.

We sustainably invest in the communities in which we live and work, both personally and corporately, through participation in service/volunteerism efforts, e.g., blood drives, community athletic, art, and entertainment sponsorships, charity events, school programs, charitable giving, and community organization participation.

OUR COMMUNITY

We are dedicated to making a difference in the communities where we live and work and partner with customers and community organizations to make a positive impact.

We established the MJE Cares Foundation to provide financial assistance for employees or community members in need, community programs, and charitable services.  Recently, we have supported local charities and/or causes such as the Foster Closet, American Cancer Society, Caring House, Special Olympics, People Helping People, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Invest in the Future Scholarships, and more. We understand the importance of supporting and promoting diversity. Our culture of diversity begins with our workforce and extends to the subcontractors and suppliers we select. We strive to enrich and empower people with disabilities, the disenfranchised, and the underserved.  Our efforts to strengthen diversification were recognized by earning Commonwealth Edison’s Diversity Advocacy Award M. J. Electric is also a charter member of the CONSTRUCT program, which provides training to prepare minority students to compete for entry-level jobs in construction and energy-related fields. SUBCONTRACTORS

We hold subcontractors to high performance standards. When choosing a subcontractor, we consider aspects such as project experience, past performance, insurability, and safety record. We consider subcontractor selection critical to a project’s success and only partner with those who share our expectations for quality, safety, integrity, and customer service.

All subcontractors must provide MJE with their safety and insurance information. We use Avetta to store and analyze this data to determine compliance with our internal standards.
