Karen oversees utility operations in Illinois and Northwest Indiana from the Downers Grove, IL office. Since joining MJE in 2001, she has held various positions including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, Director of Operations, and Senior Director of Operations before being promoted to Vice President. Prior to joining MJE, Karen spent 14 years with Aldridge Electric, where she held positions in Purchasing and Project Management. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Business Administration from Illinois State University. She currently serves as Trustee and Secretary for the IBEW Local 196 Safety and Education Fund, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Middle States Electrical Contractors Association/IBEW Local 9.
