Matua manages utility operations in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, Indiana, and Ohio for the MJ East group, based in the Oxford, MI office. He started working for MJE in 2008 as a Project Manager, and has held positions of Operations Manager and Director of Operations prior to being promoted to Vice President. Prior to working for MJE, Matua started his career working as an Electrical Engineer for one of Michigan’s largest electric utilities. He has held positions on apprentice selection committees for American Line Builders. Matua has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and maintains a Professional Engineering license in the state of Michigan.
