Tom was appointed President of M. J. Electric in 2021, and promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2025. Tom provides leadership, direction, and guidance to his executive team and oversees all operations of the M. J. Electric Group. Since starting full time with MJE in 1985, Tom held various positions including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager, and President before becoming Chief Executive Officer.  Tom serves as President on the Missouri Valley Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association Board of Directors and as a Trustee for the Missouri Valley Apprenticeship Training Program. Tom also is on the Advisory Board for the Northern Michigan University Line School and on the Program Advisory Committee for the NW Line College – Idaho Campus.  Tom is a licensed electrician and attended Western Michigan University.
