M. J. Electric participated in the Chicago Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Chicago (SOC). This year instead of the traditional plunge into Lake Michigan, team members did personal “plunges” and submitted videos for SOC’s Virtual Meltdown Party. The MJE Dare-To-Bare Team, as part of the ComEd Coolers, far exceeded our $10,000 goal — raising $16,000. If you contributed to this year’s Polar Plunge, THANK YOU! If you missed this year’s event, we will be back next year determined to plunge past this year’s record.
All funds raised benefited the 7,500+ SOC athletes, covering program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms, and food.
